Information about your registration at the Consulate General.

Since 30/11/2020, the Embassy of Belgium in Islamabad offers you the opportunity to register online in the consular population registers.

You can access this website if you are:

  • are Belgian;
  • are not (or no longer) registered in a Belgian municipality, because you have informed this municipality of your move abroad;
  • have a valid and activated Belgian electronic identity card;
  • know your PIN code and have a card reader.


Registration in consular population registers remains possible through the following non-electronic method:

a) for Pakistan:

Persons with only the Belgian nationality: visa for Pakistan and letter of your employer mentioning your address.

Persons with dual citizenship: either a Certificate of Domicile issued by the DCO (Deputy Commissioner’s (DC) Office) or a Residence Certificate issued by the concerned Union Council mentioning your exact and complete address in Pakistan. This address should correspond to the address mentioned on your registration form.
 

b) for Afghanistan:

Persons with only the Belgian nationality: visa for Afghanistan and letter of your employer mentioning your address.

Persons with dual citizenship: attestation from the municipality mentioning your address and a photocopy of your tazkira or Afghan passport.

  • Original Model 8 issued by the Belgian commune.
  • Copy of your current Belgian passport and ID card.
  • Copy of your Pakistani/Afghan passport and ID card (for persons with dual citizenship).
